What you'll do... Position: Manager II, Advanced Analytics Job Location: 850 Cherry Avenue, San Bruno, CA 94066 Duties: Determine, formulate, and track business objectives and performance-metrics using statistical modeling employing SQL language in platforms such as Google Cloud, Azure, Teradata, and Hive. Create reports and dashboards in Tableau and Power BI (back-end in GCP, Azure, Teradata, Hive, etc.) to help business track performance and provide actionable insights. Build statistical models in Python and R to simulate business outcomes for leadership and stakeholders to help drive data driven business decisions for improving operational efficiency. Work with product managers and engineers to determine impact of programs, products, and features on business performance using statistical inferences and experimentation and drive program improvements. Identify parameters which have a statistically significant impact and help teams understand causal as well as correlated parameters on the business in order to drive improvements in customer experience (e.g., in-stock, delivery speed, assortment selection). Develop forecasts of key business metrics like cancellation rates, return rates, and customer contacts. This position does not supervise employees. Minimum education and experience required: Master’s degree or the equivalent in Business Analytics, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, or related field; OR Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in Business Analytics, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, or related field and 2 years of experience in data analytics or related field. Skills required: Experience transforming and automating data within cloud infrastructure using Google Cloud Platform. Experience manipulating and transforming data using BigQuery and Hive. Experience developing visualizations using Tableau, Looker, and Power BI. Experience building machine learning models using R, Python, SAS, and SPSS. Experience scheduling ETL scripts using Cron, Concord, and GCP. Experience developing Natural Language Processing models using TensorFlow and Keras. Experience forecasting using Python and R. Experience with the following SQL databases: Hive/Hadoop, GCP/BQ, Teradata, and mySQL. Experience developing experimentation using A/B testing and Experimental Design. Experience designing and testing databases using Teradata. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills. Salary Range: The annual salary range for this full-time position is $136,000/year to $200,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.  Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and Stock equity incentives.
