Job Description Role - Lead Consultant Technology – Data Center Infra Architect Location – Amsterdam, Netherlands Job Description Infra Architect would be responsible for understanding the requirement, analysing AS-IS data and taking care of the design of the Private Cloud ready DC and guiding implementation team with design inputs basis best practices for successful roll out. Would also be responsible for creating detailed deployment architecture and device configurations (HLD & LLD). Role and Responsibilities: - Plan, research, and develop Data Center architecture for Private Cloud setup at Customer premises - Present, discuss and explain issues coherently and logically both in writing and verbally. - Understand customer functional and technical constraints as well as expectations from future Datacenter Infrastructure - Ensure technical solutions meet the needs of business such as flexible, cost, performance, and security; Develop Data Center architecture and plan the direction of the platforms towards a 3-5-year technology horizon - Identify AS-IS datacenter setup, review, and recommend potential opportunities for smooth migration, service quality improvement, and operational efficiency - Liaise with internal technology partners and external vendors to ensure effective communication and collaboration to ensure solution completeness - Provide design level support to Virtualization & Infra implementation team for project delivery and problem resolutions - Understand and analyse detailed BOM of various virtualization & Infra OEMs Requirements:- 15+ years in IT industry with at least 8 years of experience in IT solution design - At least 8 years’ experience in managing Data Center transformation and infrastructure projects - Can handle team with different tracks like Compute, Storage, Backup, Security and Network - Responsible for tracking all the requirement called out by the client and respective stake holders - An overall understanding of the transformation plan from architectural as well as business perspective - Project Planning, Risk and Issue Management - Responsible to manage the entire project planned as per stipulated timeline - Have a foresight visibility of all the transformation risks and issues - Ability to take up the team feedback and reviews from time to time - Client and stakeholder management - Project tracking and scheduling using appropriate tools - Ability to identify risks and suggest mitigation plan - Regular status reporting to stake holders as well as internal teams - Communicate with offshore teams and counterparts to ensure successful project delivery.
