We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist. In this role, you will:  - As a Third-Party Risk Assessor, you will perform third-party risk assessment process to identify, monitor, remediate, and manage third party risks across the third-party lifecycle. - Evaluating control effectiveness and review evidence of controls by applying audit, compliance, security, and regulatory framework knowledge and experience, including, but not limited to review of: ISO 27001, SOC / equivalent reports, as well as knowledge of controls related to Privacy, Compliance, Business Resiliency, Cyber and other risk domains. - Risk Assessor role requires good risk experience & technology expertise (areas of information security, business continuity, incident management, compliance, and human resource security) in accurately scoring the inherent risk profile of 3rd parties, making sure the risk assessments are completed on time with quality. In addition, the role requires the ability to prioritize and drive workload. - Manage required artifacts, perform quality control reviews, and support the end-to-end processing of third-party assessments. - Ensuring good stakeholder engagement - Subject Matter Expert in own domain with, broad basic knowledge of other domains ensuring appropriate delivery of services along with aligning with the wider strategy and objectives of the bank overall. - Mentoring / Coaching / Guidance for other team members To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements: - Minimum bachelor’s degree and/or experience in operational processes or third party information security reviews in the Financial Services industry or global corporate service provider - Background - desirable but NOT essential one or more; risk management, Audit, ISR - Qualifications - desirable but NOT essential one or more; ISO270001, CISA, CISM, CISSP, CRISC - Availability to travel (if required) for this role, i.e., travel within country as well as occasional international travel. - Positive and professional attitude, team player, flexible and adaptable, open to change(s) - Good spoken and written communication and ability to adapt style based on audience (Fluent in spoken / written English)      You’ll achieve more when you join HSBC. www.hsbc.com/careers   HSBC is committed to building a culture where all employees are valued, respected and opinions count.
