We aim to be where the growth is, enabling businesses to thrive and economies to prosper, and, ultimately, helping people to fulfil their hopes and realise their ambitions.  We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist.  In this role, you will: - Play a pivotal role as Technical Lead on the Automated Traceability Tool Project - Communicate out to a wider range of stakeholders including Senior Business stakeholders, Vendor and other Technology areas in Enterprise Technology - Assist in the design of automation products that remove manual effort required when creating Lineage models - Assist in the migration from Finance Technology Solidatus Instance to a Group owned Shared Instance and work through any migration issues - Provide leadership and technical expertise to a geographically dispersed engineering team, developing Solidatus Lineage models on behalf of the business - Design, develop and deploy applications capable of meeting the anticipated load, performance, availability, security, and resilience requirements. - Ensure appropriate communication and release documentation is issued to our customers and stakeholders on new product deliveries. - Design and develop software with a focus on automation of build, testing and deployment process on all environments to minimize variation and ensure predictable high quality code and data. To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements: - Have a passion for technology – this represents a great opportunity to broaden experience and gain new skills, it really helps if the candidate has a genuine interest for the technology. - Expert in SQL - Experience of CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Github - Have experience in Agile delivery, e.g. Scrum or Kanban, experience using JIRA. - Experience of working as a DevOps Engineer, working through design, build, testing and implementation. - Expert in Solidatus - Excellent communicator – both written and verbal – able to present comfortably to senior stakeholders - Expert in microservice development  You’ll achieve more when you join HSBC. www.hsbc.com/careers HSBC is committed to building a culture where all employees are valued, respected and opinions count.
