Your role as an RDK-V Architect: - Anchor the STB development engagement – business process consulting, problem definition to solution design - Guide team on technical aspects and process - Key advisor to architecture and design reviews - Anchor business pursuit initiatives, in-house capability building and trainings - Propose & shape solutions in the new age media ecosystem, enabling the client to meet changing global landscape - Take entire ownership of STB development and delivery activities - Involve in all stages of RDK-V based STB’s software development lifecycle - Requirement definition & elicitation - Effort estimation of proposed features - Architecture definition and design of STB features adhering to RDK-V framework - Create high level design artifacts. - Review architecture and design - Guide and mentor RDK-V development team - Lead technical discussion with third party solution providers - Adhere to Agile based development model as well as other processes set by the client - Participate in RFI and RFP response preparation from technical / architecture perspective; drive estimations and collateral consolidation Required- Expertise in design and development of RDK-V based STB software - Good knowledge of the E2E broadcast video workflow - Good understanding of RMF (Rdk Media Framework) and GStreamer - Good understanding of various IPCs like D-Bus, IARM etc - Excellent C/C++ skills - Good understanding of Linux internals - Good understanding of Yocto build system - Strong communication skill to co-ordinate with multiple vendors across the Geographic locations.
