Job Description Infosys is seeking a Performance Test Lead. In the role of Technical Test Lead, you will act as a validation and quality assurance professional across the different stages of the Testing lifecycle. You will coordinate with stakeholders and conduct test workshop to convert the requirement specifications into test requirements and create test strategy. You will create test assurance plans, strategy and identify the components for failover, system recovery and collaborate with all the teams to meet our clients’ business needs. Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education. • 4 years of IT Experience • Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Harrison, NY be willing to relocate to the area on Day1 • 4+ Years of Relevant Experience in IT Performance Testing. Preferred Experience • Performance engineering experience in large-scale software products, including requirements gathering, analysis, scripting, workload construction, test execution and results analysis. • Experience in designing scalable performance testing frameworks with open-source or commercial solutions • Experience in designing performance test solutions for monolithic and distributed architectures • Ability to pinpoint performance issues at app layer, middleware, backend systems and identify potential opportunities to optimize performance of the system with proven experience for horizontal vs vertical scaling options • Ability to highlight risks/issues with product owners in scrum/project meetings and prioritization in GO/NO Decisions • Hands on performance scripting and automation experience using tools like LoadRunner / Locust • Experience with project/test management tools like JIRA, TestRail • Knowledge on code profiling/performance monitoring tools (like • appDynamics, DynaTrace, Splunk), code profiling, JVM/heap configuration tuning experience. • Good working experience in browser (IE, Edge, Chrome and Firefox) developer tools in analyzing client-side performance. • Should be good in analyzing thread dumps, TCP dumps using any preferred tool. • Strong working experience on Fiddler tool in analyzing client-side performance issues The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
