Job Description Infosys is seeking a Test Automation Lead As a Test Automation Lead, you will act as the primary testing lead for your assigned project. You will execute functional, regression tests utilizing automation to evaluate the quality of the application and simulate business and functional scenarios. You will also be required to define and implement the testing strategy at the application or project level. Required Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education. - At least 4 years of Information Technology experience with focus on Test Automation. - U.S. citizens and those authorized to work in the U.S. are encouraged to apply. We are unable to sponsor at this time. - Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Harrison, NY or be willing to relocate to the area. - Experience with Testing strategies and Test Execution, specific to automation are mandatory. - Knowledge and experience with full SDLC lifecycle. - Experience with Lean / Agile development methodologies. - Experience working on test automation frameworks for Web, Mobile, API application requirements. - Experience utilizing test automation within CI-CD pipelines. - Experience reviewing test metrics, analyzing failure logs, capturing test results. - Experience working with cloud-based cross-browser platforms like BrowserStack. - Experience working with project and test management tools like Jira, TestRail. - Experience working in cloud-hosted test environments like AWS and Azure. - Experience working through development codebases and maintaining QA codebases on GitHub. Preferred Experience:- 4 years of experience leading automation teams in an onsite-offshore (Global delivery) model. - Building relationships with project teams to ensure stakeholder satisfaction. - Articulating QA value to client project stakeholders. - Addressing client concerns/escalations. - Experience with test automation frameworks based on Playwright, Python Robot, Appium - Experience with programming languages to support test automation – Javascript, Python - Understanding of test artifacts for functional/regression testing - Experience setting up strategy/approach for test automation. - Coordinating with client technical SMEs to review and seek feedback - Coordinating with infrastructure teams, DevOps teams, functional teams to address dependencies to develop and execute test automation scripts - Ability to develop automation scripts, perform execution and demonstrations. - Experience creating and maintaining test documentation to client specifications and provided compliance requirements. - Experience in supporting approaches to improve testing maturity and automation utilization - Adopting best practices for efficient construction and usage of functional test automation tools and frameworks - Ability to communicate complex technology solutions to diverse teams namely, technical, business and management teams - Ability to work in fast paced environment to drive business outcomes. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
