Job Description Role – Lead Consultant Technology – AWS and GCP Location – Amsterdam, Netherlands Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Cloud Consultant to design, develop, and implement scalable and reliable cloud solutions on AWS and GCP. The ideal candidate should have extensive knowledge of cloud computing technologies. The successful candidate will be responsible for working with cross-functional teams to design and develop cloud architectures, migrating workloads to the cloud, and implementing cloud-based solutions that meet business and technical requirements. In addition, the candidate will be responsible for managing a team of cloud engineers, providing technical guidance, and ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets. Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement scalable and reliable cloud-based solutions on AWS and GCP, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify business and technical requirements. - Develop and manage cloud infrastructure and applications using automation and DevOps methodologies. - Develop and maintain cloud architecture and documentation, adhering to security best practices and implementing cloud-based security solutions. - Design and implement continuous integration and delivery pipelines using Gitlab. - Migrate workloads to the cloud, including application re-architecting and refactoring. - Develop and maintain automation scripts using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Python, and monitor and troubleshoot cloud-based applications and infrastructure. - Implement and maintain cloud-based monitoring solutions using tools such as Grafana and security solutions such as Xray, SonarCube, Lacework, and Rapid7, and develop and maintain cloud-based backup and recovery solutions including Disaster Recovery - Configure and manage applications using Ansible - Package and build images using Packer or similar tools - Implement security and compliance best practices for cloud solutions - Manage Active Directory, SMTP, Time Service NTP, Syslog, and SIEM solutions, and maintain Windows and Unix jumpers and base OS images. - Manage a team of cloud engineers, providing technical guidance, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets, and communicating effectively with stakeholders. Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field. - Minimum of 10 years of experience in cloud computing. - Proven experience in designing and implementing cloud-based solutions on AWS and GCP, with extensive knowledge of cloud technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, and Python. - Strong understanding of security best practices for cloud-based solutions and experience with monitoring and troubleshooting tools such as Grafana, Xray, SonarCube, Lacework, and Rapid7. - Knowledge of Windows and Unix jumpers, base OS images, Active Directory, SMTP, Time Service NTP, Syslog, and SIEM solutions. - Experience in managing a team of cloud engineers, providing technical guidance, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets, and communicating effectively with stakeholders. - Ability to provide input on cloud strategy and solutioning to senior management.
