Your role In the role of a Senior Industry Principal, you will be leading the engagement in the area of Entertainment Services with a major telco client. You will be responsible for ensuring that products meet design requirements, and deliver a consistent experience for users. You will be managing an entire team of engineers , developers, testers collaborating with the product managers, as well as guiding the product vision and maintaining compliance with quality standards. As a thought leader in your domain, you will be the key advisor contributing to architecture and design reviews. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our client to meet the changing needs of the global landscape Required - Build, develop, and manage the engineering team across diverse areas covering Online Video Platforms, OTT applications, Content Distribution Networks, Video Back Office Applications and End Point Devices - Design, implement, and monitor all operations and key performance metrics/operational efficiency for the engineering team - Engage with client executives on roadmap , execution and strategic alignment on initiatives. - Understand and collaborate on the complete product lifecycle from concept to execution. - Make technology recommendations to address the needs of clients in the entertainment space, Qualifications- B.S. and an advanced degree in a technical field required (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, etc.) - 15+ years of experience in engineering leadership - Experience working with both software development and with hardware engineering - Strong verbal, visual, and written communication skills with the ability to explain approach to all levels in the organization including key stakeholders - Able to think strategically and see the big picture - Experience managing a distributed team - Extensive engineering expertise in the areas of tooling, prints, specifications, product maintenance, budgeting, and software products - Proven success working closely with Product Management, contributing to the product strategy and helping to successfully deliver on the product roadmap Personal Besides the professional qualifications of the candidates we place great importance in addition to various personality attributes.
