Job Description Role - Lead Consultant Technology – E2E Video Headend Architect, Media Streaming technologies, CDN, VSPP, DRM, Cloud Services, Linux, Python/Shell. Your role As a Media Delivery Specialist: - Design and implement of Streaming Media Architectures - Perform vendor selection, due diligence, and research - Perform configurations and implementation of Streaming Media environments - Perform integration of Media Playout / Media Streaming within the Network to support VoD, StartOver, Re-Start, Replay and Network-PVR functionalities - Support capacity and planning modelling against requirements - Work independently on assigned components as component owner with all Video and Media delivery systems vendors - Write and manage test cases towards test/release management - Actively participate and coordinate tests to verify new platform / component functionality - Assist affiliates in setting up operational procedures to run/implement new functionality - Provide knowledge transfer - Provide handover documentation - Help to materially improve the service assurance by initiating and managing projects. - Develop custom scripts for the automation of certain operational tasks and service monitoring of the CDN solutions. As end to end Video Architect- You will be responsible for driving and directing the design of digitally enabled solutions within agile & IT DevOps client engagements to deliver tangible business benefits. - You should be able to play an advisory role to clients by providing technology consultancy including problem definition, discovery, solution blueprint, product/technology evaluation, driving feasibility PoC, solution recommendation, architecture definition and governance - You will participate in RFI and RFP response preparation from technical / architecture perspective; drive estimations and collateral consolidation, bring in alliance product offering/IPs to provide technical leadership and technical differentiation. - You will review architectural decisions, architecture solution, re-engineering architectures to meet project requirement - You will guide the team technically and work closely with offshore team acting as a communication medium between the client and offshore. Required- 12+ years of IT experience with min 5 years as Media/End to End Video Architect. - Must have - Hands-on experience with video systems (Origins and CDN). - Must have - Understanding of OTT Delivery protocols (HLS, Dash, HSS etc.). - Must have - Experience with DRM systems (PlayReady, FairPlay, Widevine). - Must have - Hands-on with Linux and Networking protocols like DNS, HTTP, TCP/IP etc. - Hands-on with monitoring tools like Grafana, Kibana, Nagios and Conviva. - Hands-on with administering databases, Python application scripts and storage systems. - Experience with a variety of back-end persistence, queuing, and networking technologies. - Excellent interpersonal, Oral, and written communication skills in English. - Should be flexible enough to work during extended hours support Critical P1/P2 Incidents. - Strong communication skill to co-ordinate with multiple vendors across the Geographic locations for resolution of Critical incidents. - Strong analytical and Debugging knowledge on the production incidents from Dashboards/ Limited Logs. - Engineer business end-to-end workflows and (enterprise) solution architectures across application domains, including facilitation of requirements engineering sessions with (senior) business stakeholders. - Collaborate with the Product Owner, agile & IT DevOps teams to ensure business aligned delivery. - Build a team of agile technology analysts and junior architects to work with you in the agile deliveries. - Organize and track progress and maintain documentation using Document repositories. Technology- Linux Networking - Python Programming - CDN Platform (Ex: Velocix/Akamai) - Cloud DVR (Ex: VSPP Mediakind) - Media Packagers - Video Quality Analyzers (Ex: Tektronix/Bridgetech) - OTT Streaming - HLS AND DASH Protocol understanding - Encoders/Transcoders (Ex: Ateme/NEA/Harmonic) - DRM Technologies (Ex: Irdeto, FairPlay, Widevine) - Ad-insertion (Ex: CommScope/Cadent) - Teletext Convertors - Cloud AWS/Azure/Google - Web Services REST, SOAP - Build using Maven/Ant, Jenkins- CI/CD Preferred- Relevant experience track record in the Telecom domain and middleware technologies - Ability to prepare and facilitate business requirements engineering and solutioning sessions independently - Commercial and relationship affinity to assist in the shaping and conversion of engagement opportunities - Demonstrated experience to lead agile teams on a day-to-day basis as well as emerging experience to leas individual team member as an enterprise architect - Relevant experience with agile, scrum, ITDevOps way of working - Relevant experience in solutions delivery in the Communications, Media or Technology industry is preferred Personal Besides the professional qualifications of the candidates, we place great importance in addition to various forms personality profile.
