Position Summary... What you'll do... Manager - Process Improvement, Manager I - WFS The Walmart US eCommerce Fulfillment Services team (WFS) builds products that allow Marketplace sellers to easily provide fast, affordable delivery options to Walmart's customers. At WFS, our aim is to differentiate on trust, transparency, and partnership. This person will be responsible for implementing continuous improvement initiatives and introducing new processes for key business functions to drive business goals, objectives, and projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and key objectives are achieved. You will analyze the data, evaluate key business processes, and prepare a plan by collaborating with multiple stakeholders, execute and monitor the progress. You’ll sweep us off our feet if: - You have experience in one of the domains such as retail, ecommerce, marketplace, supply chain, logistics, manufacturing, in leading projects and supporting various business initiatives with a sense of urgency - You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, and six sigma methodologies - You have experience in value stream mapping, root cause analysis, and kaizen methodologies - You have experience in conducting value stream mapping and root cause analysis to identify process improvement opportunities - You are exceptional in planning and managing complex projects, combining processes, organizational change and technology workstreams - You can analyze and assimilate data, key performance indicators, and business results to report on overall effectiveness of our initiatives - You are effective at coaching, guiding, and motivating your co-workers - You have strong problem solving and technical skills coupled with confident decision making enabling effective solutions leading to high customer satisfaction - You can manage and build cross-functional project management teams - You have highly polished written and oral communication skills, able to develop executive-level presentations and get buy-in - You are comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment - You have proven leadership skills, are self-motivated and a self-starter with a “can do” attitude Essential Functions: - Implement continuous improvement initiatives and introduce new processes for key business functions to drive business goals, objectives, and projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and key objectives are achieved. - Analyze the data, evaluate key business processes, and prepare a plan by collaborating with multiple stakeholders, execute and monitor the progress. - Develops and maintains relationships with project sponsors and stakeholders by educating sponsors and stakeholders on product and program requirements and documentation; - Manages multiple small-scale projects or multiple work streams by collaborating with stakeholders to efficiently develop and deliver recommended solutions - Demonstrates up-to-date process expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices; supporting and aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs; and building commitment for perspectives and rationales. - Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by incorporating these into the development and implementation of business plans; using the Open Door Policy; and demonstrating and assisting others with how to apply these in executing business processes and practices.
