The role: As a Technical Product Owner you will work with our clients to ensure that their digital products and services deliver business and consumer needs. You have a data driven mindset and you will use insights and analytics to drive continuous optimisation. You will jointly own the product roadmap with your counterparts and ensure delivery to market through partnership with program management, engineering, design, and quality assurance. You will represent the needs of the European consumers in prioritization across global opportunities. Your team: In this position you will often be based at our clients’ site, and you will be an integral part of their agile teams which often consist of other product managers, developers, analysts, testers and operations specialist. Examples of responsibilities: - Enable Agile teams to deliver valuable solutions. - Work with Product management to define product features and roadmap, and clearly communicate it to the team. - Understand the problem you are trying to solve for the customer and construct a backlog which delivers value incrementally. - Fully own the team’s product backlog: manage capacity for stories, defects, enablers; prioritize and make trade-offs based on delivering value as early as possible. - Write well defined stories with clear acceptance criteria - Define clear sprint goals in line with product roadmap and company goals - Deliver Quality and Value - Prioritize testing and quality when defining stories - Accept / reject stories based on acceptance criteria What we offer: - A competitive salary based on your qualities and experience. - Access to Udemy, Cognizant Academy digital libraries for your continuous learning. - NS business card to cover your commute expenses. - 25 days of paid holiday per year. - Health insurance - A laptop and a smartphone. - A pension scheme. - Hybrid working environment (approximately 2 office days per week) - Organization driven by technology – we have a tremendous technology backbone. - Open, ‘can do’ team spirit and international environment that encourages making your ideas reality! What you will bring to the team: - A minimum of 8 years of experience of which 2 as a Product Owner/Manager. - In depth understanding of the Agile principles and methodologies. - Data-driven mindset. SQL skills are considered beneficial. - High level understanding of multiple technologies such as Java, AWS cloud / Azure, UI and others. - Ability to break down conceptual designs into user stories for development. - Experience of working with Jira for backlog and execution management.
