We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a SSv – Head of Transfer Agency & Pensions Technology. Background Securities Services Technology is a global IT function responsible for the delivery of strategic, regulatory, BAU and service sustaining technology change, as well as the ongoing support of the technology platform supporting the SSv business. SSv IT is a key enabler for the SSv Growth strategy, providing technology programme delivery expertise alongside architecture, development and support for both new and existing platforms. As part of the Transfer Agency & Pensions Value Stream, Transfer Agency/Pensions services a range of international clients. SSv IT provides the technology and solution design capability cross these services to maintain and improve existing services and develop innovative propositions that ensure SSv remains competitive in the market. The role location is based in Singapore however China (includes Hong Kong) will also be considered. The role reports into the CIO of Securities Services Technology, focusing on the global traditional Transfer Agency & Pensions platforms. Accountabilities - Leadership of a multi discipline team circa 100+ FTE across multiple locations - Management of technology delivery budget circa 10m USD annually, including major client change pipelines - Enabling delivery of SSv strategy through support and delivery of the technology platform - Service Management of all SSv systems and platforms owned by the role including delivery of new features and functionality, maintenance, as well as production management, service availability and vendor management - Designs and leads the technology delivery teams in line with the SSv IT architecture principles - Developing relationships with all interested parties within SSv and with our clients - Works with the Head of Transfer Agency/Pensions Product/Product Delivery and Operations to agree priorities for technology and change delivery that meet business objectives whilst optimising available resources and managing risks to service availability - Continually seeks to promote innovate solutions to business problems through technology - Resource and financial management for the function - Collaborates with other delivery teams to ensure optimum deployment of delivery resources - Works closely with the Value Stream peers to define a common vision & outcomes plus set OKR’s - Drives governance that is accountable and meaningful, supporting delivery and aligned with Group practices - Promotes an environment of inclusion, diversity, collaboration and trust within the Group, helping teams to define the plans and to remove their barriers to delivery.Inspire confidence in the future vision and generate excitement, enthusiasm and commitment in their teams. - Fosters strong working relationships across the SSv IT and wider SSv - Promote the value of challenging the status quo, seeking to improve ways of working and having a forward-thinking mind-set, in line with the Group’s Values and Strategy Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications Knowledge - Securities Services Business, specifically Fund Administration, Fund Accounting and Transfer Agency - Management of change within an IT environment - Change delivery practices including a working knowledge of a range of methodologies e.g. Agile/DevOps - IT Service Management frameworks, in particular ITIL or similar - An understanding of the product development lifecycle Experience - Leading and motivating large scale high performing teams across multiple geographies and cultures - Influencing and negotiating at Director level within a similar commercial environment - An innovating thinker in touch with the latest technologies developments and an ability to challenge ways of working and think Agile and DevOps - Inspires trust through credibility evidenced via exceptional communication skills both written and verbal - Management of vendors and externally hosted platforms on both public & private cloud To be considered for this role, the relevant rights to work in Singapore is required.
