We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Software Engineer What will you do in this role: Resource management- - Creation and tracking of resource requests via Pioneer & Discover for all resources globally - Role phasing to meet global strategies, tracking contract end dates and ensuring all are completed in a timely manner - Production / Maintenance of documents which include: resource trackers, organisational structures, distribution lists, timesheets etc. - Establishing strong relationships with the various central resourcing & vendor teams - Forecasting of resources and ensuring department strategy is in line with Global Business strategies - Holding regular meetings with the teams that you will be responsible for, ensuring that they are on track to meet original transition / conversion plans/forecasts and alignment to funding areas Finance Management - - Financial planning and budget forecast submissions for individual teams rolling up to one report fed in to Business Manager - Responsible for liaising with various members of the team and ensuring that finance forecast is up to date - Working closely with the central Finance team to ensure all returns are completed within a timely manner - Tracking & trend analysis around the budget in terms of Cost Management and Cost Realisation To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements: - Bachelors degree in any stream or equivalent.   - Strong/Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel is a must - Strong portfolio management skills - Sound analytical skills with an ability to understand complex technical and business issues - An understanding of the business environment and imperatives, particularly the provision of excellent customer service - Excellent communication skills to build and maintain effective working relationships with peer groups in Operations & Finance teams, the user community, and key suppliers - Sound budgetary skills - Creation of material for various governance meetings which include strategic focus and delivery focus (fortnightly), including secretariat responsibilities - Leading and assisting Risk and Issue forums - Responsible for Weekly resourcing progress report - Collation of various data, analysis, understanding and presentation to various audiences - Monthly Financial reporting Additional good to have skills: - Power BI - Macros - PPT HSBC is committed to building a culture where all employees are valued, respected and opinions count.
