Your role - Take complete ownership of assigned modules/components of Application layer of RDK-V based STB - Involve in all stages of STB feature development - Requirement elicitation - Effort estimation of proposed features - Architecture definition and design of STB features adhering to RDK-V framework - Create high level design artifacts. - Develop high quality code - Troubleshoot issues reported by internally and from TFT/Production - Lead the validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation - Design and development of STB GUI and widgets based on the wireframes - Design and develop the service layer of STB to interact with backend - Guide and mentor STB Application team - Work closely with Middleware (RDK-V) development, System Integration & Testing teams for successful rollout of STB application - Code review of junior team members - Lead technical discussion with third party solution providers - Adhere to Agile based development model as well as other processes set by the client Required- Design and development of Node JS application in Set top box - Javascript based UI/UX development in Set top box - Good understanding of Media domain Preferred- Knowledge of RDK Thunder APIs - Strong communication skill to co-ordinate with multiple vendors across the Geographic locations. - Good knowledge of the E2E broadcast video workflow Personal Besides the professional qualifications of the candidates we place great importance in addition to various forms personality profile.
