Your role In the role of Senior Consultant, you will act as a primary developer om application. You will eventually conduct requirement analysis, define the activities and modules to develop and lead execution to guarantee superior outcomes. Required • Operation management - acting as first line ticket master responsible for intake and review of incoming access, delivery, and incident requests, assigning them to team members based on priority and complexity, advising and assisting in execution and successful completion. Supporting day-to-day activities of team members, monitoring progress of daily tasks according to available resources. Creating clear work documentation for team members based on low-level designs and other requirements from stakeholders/management. Assisting team members by sharing knowledge and expertise, stepping in and providing support in activities where more experience is needed. Providing feedback on team members performance and reporting status of activities to management on daily basis. • Logistic support - maintaining daily overview of stock levels and capacity across all data centers. Overseeing delivery and return shipment requests, including submission and execution of appropriate tickets in various facility ticketing systems. Receiving, unpacking as well as packing and returning datacentre hardware and its components. Sorting and disposing of packaging materials in accordance to facility guidelines. Reporting to requestors/stakeholders as well as vendors on status of hardware shipments and installations. • Hardware support - aligning with stakeholders and vendors to schedule hardware replacement activities during and outside of business hours, assigning available engineers, maintaining open communication channels via emails, messaging chats and bridge calls, providing feedback and stats reports to management. Planning and conducting extensive troubleshooting on datacentre network, compute, and storage hardware equipment, as well as cabling infrastructure. Providing clear feedback and root cause analysis to requestors and vendors, suggesting corrective and preventive actions. Verifying feedback from team members on requested visual inspection of all datacentres. Overseeing execution of troubleshooting activities requested by stakeholders and vendors and conducted by team members, reporting back on outcomes of those steps and suggesting possible next steps or alternatives. Attending and/or overseeing to pre-scheduled out of office hours, night, and weekend maintenance activities on datacentre equipment, including power, cooling, and IT systems. • Hardware installation – determining rack location for installation of hardware, based on project requirements and low-level designs, overall DC capacity planning and power/cooling requirements. Installing and de-installing from rack cabinets various datacentre network, compute, storage, telemetry, transmission, and power hardware, in accordance with vendor mounting, power and cooling specifications, as well as with provided requestor/stakeholders documentation. • Cabling management – planning cable routing matrix based on projects low-level designs, utilizing Top-Of-Rack or End-Of-Row infrastructure solutions and ODF/Patch-Panel cabinets for most efficient patching. Executing patching requests in form of cabling, re-cabling and de-cabling various datacentre hardware, utilizing latest UTP and fibre-optical technologies and datacentre structured cabling systems in accordance with patching schedule documentation provided by requestor/stakeholders. Providing clear and detailed feedback on execution of patching requests and updating all relevant documentation and DCIM/CMDB systems. • DC access support – overseeing and supporting execution of access requests for visitors from stakeholders, vendors and 3rd party support personnel in datacentre facility ticketing systems and portals. Scheduling escort assistance and support to vendor’s Field Engineers for pre-scheduled as well as short notice ad-hoc/emergency requests in accordance with strict access and escort guidelines and policies Personal Besides the professional qualifications of the candidates we place great importance in addition to various forms personality profile.
