Job Summary: Technical investigator would help us increase the accuracy of returned products grading. This means he/she classifies the status in which the product was received in the warehouse. Detects whether it should be sent back to the sellable inventory or not. This includes looking for signs of customer use/damages, carrier damage or manufacturing defect of the received products. Key job responsibilities The successful candidate will own the grading of high value returns. He/she would inspect and grade returns in the warehouse to clearly identify their received status disposition. He/she would be able to point out if a product is used/ damaged by inspecting the product visually and testing its functionality. He should also have the technical knowledge to figure out if the product is switched by a replica or a high imitation copy. He/she must have technical background in dealing with electronic products (mobiles, electronic household items, computers) to be able to carry out the tasks assigned efficiently. He/she must be an effective leader and communicator working with our most important partners, as well as with internal colleagues and groups. He or she will have strong business judgment with a track record of strong ownership values and relationship management skills. He/she is expected to deal with internal teams (LP/ abuse/ LM) and follow up with them until the task is completed. A day in the life Basic Qualification and Skills Required · An understanding of and passion for e-commerce. · Work experience is preferred (2 - 3 years). · Experience in quality assurance, manufacturing, buying, selling and servicing of electronic products . Ability to cross functionally communicate with other teams with thorough follow up to deliver results . Technical expertise and passion and knowledge of electronic products/ gadgets · Good written and verbal communication skills · Strong numerical and analytical aptitude · Ability to think and react in a high-energy, fast-paced environment · Good organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines · Detail-oriented · Smart, enthusiastic, hard-working, and creative. · Innovative, team oriented, and have a desire to participate in change and appreciate a dynamic environment with rapidly changing priorities. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - 1+ years of sales experience - Bachelor's degree PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - +1 year technical service experience
