In this role, you will: - Provide end to end solution design across all change whether in the regions or Global Value Streams.  - Be responsible for delivering in line with global patterns and strategies where appropriate and to align business requirements to technology solutions, aligning to architecture direction and roadmap  - Provide consistent end to end solution designs which will deliver expected Business Outcomes, satisfy all relevant regulatory requirements and mitigate identified operational risk .Provide a consistent end to end solution designs which will deliver expected Business Outcomes, satisfy all relevant regulatory requirements and mitigate identified operational risks  - Provide architectural management across a portfolio of change/Value Stream  - Define, maintain and own the architecture for the respective VS, ensuring compliance with Enterprise Architecture, group standards and policies; ensuring that the target architecture (as defined by the EA) is implemented consistently across the function and respective teams  - Provide feedback to VS / Platform architects on architecture roadmap and help refine as required. Provide clear guidance and direction to VS leads that affect a journey or prioritization in QBR sessions  - Communicate architecture direction and roadmap to the VS ensuring alignment. Works across Value Stream and Sub-Value Streams (SVS) to identify and manage dependencies where they enter and exit VS and SVS  - Minimize / avoid technology debts & ensure clear communication to SVS leadership and pods alike; escalate as required via VS lead architect. Clearly document all risks, issues, dependencies and communicate effectively and document via agreed Architecture Operating Model To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements: - 20 years of total experience is required for this role. - Resilience architects with proven ability to technical assess the resilience of IT Services and propose appropriate technical recommendations/solutions that enhance current services to make them highly-available to the HSBC customer. - Strong technical background at both an application and infrastructure level with experience of delivering modern technology platforms and services - Strong analytical and problem solving skills Be conversant and comfortable in discussing technology strategy at senior levels of technology and business - Capability to influence and champion new ideas and technical direction within the organization - Ability to collaborate with the Business and Engineers to ensure solutions adhere to principles and direction set - Ability to breakdown non-functional requirements into application, infrastructure and security capabilities and component - Excellent Communication skills and the capability to adapt verbal and written communications to the appropriate audience to communicate at the right level depending on audience - Accountability for significant architectural decisions and provide justification for decisions taken - Technical and business stakeholder management from developers to executive management You’ll achieve more when you join HSBC. www.hsbc.com/careers HSBC is committed to building a culture where all employees are valued, respected and opinions count.
