RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or related1 - 2 Years Work experience as a QA Engineer, QA Tester, or relevant position in the IT departmentComplete understanding of automation systems and databasesKnowledge of programming languages like JavaScript, HTML, and CSSBasic knowledge of scripting and other related proceduresExpertise in automation testing tools like Selenium, Katalon Studio, Serenity and CucumberUnderstanding of testing protocolsKnow-how of different types of testing methods like white box and black box testingFamiliarity with the software development processGood analytical and troubleshooting skillsAttention to detailStrong communication skillsAbility to work collaborativelyAbility to manage project deadlines Good time management and organizational skills ResponsibilitiesPlanning and prioritizing testing activitiesCoordinating with the Design team to discuss verification protocolsHelping identify weaknesses and problem areas in the software applicationSuggesting automated software test proceduresTracking software bugs and investigating the causesPointing out problem areasPreparing automation scriptsCommunicating with the QA Engineer to implement software applicationsDesigning and handling the installation of software databasesTroubleshooting automation software issuesCoordinating with the System Analyst to finalize system proceduresCreating test plans and casesPreparing detailed test reports Prioritizing and executing testsReviewing technical specifications and design documents Conducting regression testing when neededMonitoring assurance metrics and process results
