Job Description Infosys is seeking a Power BI Developer. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Required Qualifications: Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Toronto, Ontario or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel. Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education. At least 2 years of Information Technology experience. Canadian citizens and those authorized to work in the Canada are encouraged to apply. We are unable to sponsor at this time. Preferred Qualification :At least 2 years of experience in software development life cycle 2 years of experience in Creating dashboards, volume reports, operating summaries, and presentations and graphs in PowerBI Use of Custom Visuals to meet customer requirements Experience in PowerBI Service Administration and Gateway configuration for multiple source systems. Deploy the PowerBI models, Reports and Paginated reports to premium capacity Performance analysis and suggest best approaches to team to improve the performance Developing PowerBI data Models, Data Preparation with Data Flows and designing PowerBI reports Good experience in consuming data from different sources and designing the PowerBI Data Models Proven experience in writing DAX expressions. Good experience in writing SQLs over SQL Server, Oracle Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment Experience in Retail, CPG and Logistics Domain Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment Ability to communicate statistical and technical ideas and results to non-technical clients in written/verbal form Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking ability Experience to Retail, CPG domain Experience and desire to work in a management consulting environment that requires regular travel About Us Infosys is a global leader in next-generation digital services and consulting.
