We aim to be where the growth is, enabling businesses to thrive and economies to prosper, and, ultimately, helping people to fulfil their hopes and realise their ambitions.  We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of a Lead Consultant Specialist.  In this role, you will:  The GPI Consultant Specialist will be a certified Pega Senior Systems Architect.  They will be responsible for the design and development of the application, ensuring it is maintained, developed and deployed in line with HSBC and Pega PRPC best-practice. They will also undertake below responsibilities:  - Responsible for providing the Solution Design for the new Requirements / Enhancements / Business Problem Statement. - Responsible for preparing the solution Design document and present it to the Architecture Forum for their approval. - Manages activities that take place during solution ideation, solution design, and solution implementation. - Responsible for keeping the application up to date with latest PEGA & SI Version and provide Integration Solution with the Partner Teams. - Responsible for making the application future ready for migrating / maintaining the features and enhancements related to Cloud Migration, AI/ML. - Should be able to manage and lead team and delivered solutions meet and perform to technical and functional requirements, working through vendor and in-house resources. - Contribute to estimating, planning and delivery against committed timescales and ensure the deliverables meet the performance thresholds expected - Assist the production support team as required. To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:   - Must have 6-8 years of experience in Software Engineering with PEGA based platform and should have In-depth knowledge integrations like SOAP, REST and other PEGA provided API and solid understanding on oracle, XML, Java and SQL - Extensive experience of PRPC version 8.x and the Smart Investigate framework, 3+ years in Development (Essential). - Should have working knowledge in PEGA, Architecture, Pega Version Upgrade, managing the parallel development. - Indexing, Arching & Purging, Session management, Customized logging, creating custom Guardrail, very good knowledge on PDC, Class Dependencies, Rule Dependents, etc - Should have conducted architecture design reviews, code walkthroughs, and performance and security reviews. - Support /Guide teams in Creation of re-usable assets, frameworks, solution packs and good understanding on PEGA best practices, implementation life cycles and proficiency in using JIRA and Confluence - Required certifications: CLSA (Certified Lead System Architect), or CSSA (Certified Senior System Architect).  The successful candidate will also meet the following requirements: - Experience of working on Google Cloud for Pega development & deployment.  You’ll achieve more when you join HSBC. www.hsbc.com/careers  HSBC is committed to building a culture where all employees are valued, respected and opinions count.
