DESCRIPTION Amazon Logistics (AMZL) is looking for an On-the-Road ACES Manager with a strong delivery record and proven project management experience to own strategic, tactical, cross-functional and technology projects and programs within AMZL. The OTR ACES Manager will solve complex challenges with last mile delivery in the network, partnering with AMZL ACES manager, Station Managers, and cross functional stakeholders to ensure efficient and cost-effective execution of deliveries to Amazon’s customers. The individual in this position will identify, design, and deliver process improvement solutions for various customer experience initiatives, designed to improve Amazon’s ability to deliver directly to customers. These roles require scoping and creating project plans, developing processes, coordinating and driving execution, and communicating to senior management on status, risks and process/product changes. Cross-team coordination, project management and executive presentation skills are essential. Please note this is a regional role so can be based out of any Delivery Station that is closest to you across either Sydney or Melbourne. Must be willing to travel (~25%) and work across non-traditional shift patterns which include nights. Key job responsibilities · Serve as gatekeeper in assigned process areas for the change management process. · Support process improvements, best practice sharing, and standardization across all Amazon Logistics processes using Lean principles. · Provide metrics inputs and reporting that support compliance of standard work and that drives improvements in cost and quality. · Provide SME input during planning cycles as well as project scoping exercises · Observe deliveries in the field to identify barriers to first-time delivery success; recommend solutions and improvements to Amazon’s systems and processes. · Conduct ad-hoc analysis to deep dive escalations or identify opportunity areas that improve on-road efficiency and cost. · Document feedback and audit results to help the AMZL team identify strengths, as well as areas of improvement in terms of On-Road productivity and quality. · Partner with leaders of delivery stations to drive improvement in quality metrics for Amazon Logistics’ last mile delivery providers · Work with multiple tech and program partners to improve applications and system execution for our customers including conducting robust UAT & Pilot testing. · Lead weekly review calls with business partners and daily escalation calls as necessary. · Lead and participate in cross functional projects spanning cross functional teams such as Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, Launch, Tech etc with the aim of improving Safety, Customer Experience, Quality and Cost of Amazon Logistics. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - 3+ years of team management experience - 3+ years of program or project management experience - 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience - Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements - Bachelor's degree - 5+ years of management experience in a manufacturing, production or distribution environment - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Tableau/PowerBI or similar tools. - Advanced proficiency in SQL PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements - Strong product and project management and analytical skills; ability to lead projects at a network level to influence and obtain buy-in, and then drive execution, analysis and achievement of the right results. - Exceptional communication (both written and verbal) skills - Knowledge of continuous improvement concepts (Lean, Six Sigma and Kaizen techniques) - You are highly organized, able to complete a high volume of tasks and projects with limited guidance and tight deadlines - Experience in transportation delivery industry, retail or carrier operations are advantageous.
