At Cognizant we promote an inclusive culture, where we value different perspectives providing career growth and development opportunities. #WelcomeToCognizant!  We have an exciting opportunity for an exceptional individual to work supporting one of our clients as a .NET Developer.   What you'll do: - Design and develop .NET components for Patient Financing applications. -  Responsible for day to day delivery of development activities based on the approved functional specifications. - Ensure quality sprint/project deliverables which meet the necessary standards. - Collaborate with other members of the development and QA teams to ensure quality deliverables. - Work on assigned Jira items and ensure appropriate update on Jira for application release. - Ensure all development artefacts are documented complete accurate and shared / archived. - Participate in sprint / project planning activities development QA and UAT activities.   Preferred experience - 5+ years of experience in Microsoft technologies with strong .NET Core experience, Entity Framework. - 3+ years of experience developing restful APIs. - 5+ years hands on experience with Data Layer SQL and Stored Procedures is preferred, NoSQL exposure experience. - Experience with JIRA and TFS is required. - Experience with Web Application performance tuning debugging caching strategies. - Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.   Why Cognizant?  Improve your career in one of the largest and fastest growing IT services providers worldwide  Receive ongoing support and funding with training and development plans  Have a highly competitive benefits and salary package  Get the opportunity to work for leading global companies  We are committed to respecting human rights and build a better future by helping your minds and the environment   We invest in people and their wellbeing.   We create conditions for everyone to thrive.
