We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist In this role, you will: - Understand the IT Infra delivery model in the department for effective ITID Delivery - Mange the project from Infra delivery point of view, building stakeholder buy-in around the project plan and commitments - Support Technology teams to manage delivery proactively, balancing scope, schedule, resourcing, dependencies, communications, budget with effective team management skills across project teams involved - Provide management to maintain a focus on how the project aligns to wider program objectives, where appropriate, and to the change portfolio across HSBC - Ensure adherence to standard controls and drives teams to achieve compliance and framework, capability management, Security controls and to adhere stringent project delivery timelines To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements - Must have in-depth administration, technical and architectural knowledge of Middleware and Web technology software like IBM WebSphere Application Server, Liberty, JBoss, Tomcat and Apache HTTPD and Messaging technology like IBM MQ - Must have in-depth experience in task automation using automation tools, like Ansible, Jenkins &  infrastructure monitoring through AppDynamics - Excellent knowledge and working experience in managing security certificates is a must - Strong trouble shooting skills and experiences in complex environment - Good knowledge of various platform environments, including Linux, Unix, Mainframe and AIX operating systems and clustering software like Veritas Cluster Software, and experience in shell scripting for administration and support activities & working experience in Public Cloud Service - Good knowledge with working experience in continuous quality improvement & in ITIL process, i.e. Incident, Problem and Change Management process - Good understanding of DevOps model, Agile methodology and related tools like Confluence, JIRA & Good project management skills & Delivery must meet SLA - Strong communication skills to interact with diverse user groups from application developer, application support team, project managers, and other domains expertise, both written and verbal in English - IaaS: Terraform, Helm - Source code versioning; GIT and Cloud: AWS Containers: Docker and Kubernetes (including EKS) You’ll achieve more when you join HSBC. www.hsbc.com/careers  HSBC is committed to building a culture where all employees are valued, respected and opinions count.
