We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Unix/Oracle/Cloud skills/Java or Python. In this role, you will: - Provide Support/Maintenance for Vendor supplied instrument/pricing data management enterprise applications with demanding SLAs dealing with number of consumers in dynamic and high pressured environment.  - Primary responsibility is to support the most appropriate IT solutions in line with the solution design, to meet customer needs, ensuring continuous improvement. - Manage the availability and maintainability of internal java based API and Micro services on Google cloud platforms as well as monolithic platforms. - Application team would be called upon to investigate problems involving instrument data management business process involving complex financial products. - Build and support continuous integration (CI), continuous delivery (CD) and continuous testing activities Work with Cyber Security to define Security patterns and implement adequate controls. - Incident & Problem management - Owning an Incident/problem from the initial user contact, reporting this problem in the bank’s reporting tool, following through to a resolution, liaising with other teams and product vendors where necessary, communicating with the users/consumers and delivering a final resolution. - Supporting the PIR (Post Incident Review) closure. - Responsible for the operational stability, integrity and availability of products and services. - Need to involve in new enhancements, development & Infra management in a POD model. - He/she should be ready for on-call (US/APAC hours) & weekend support on a rota basis, if required. - Ability to be flexible if circumstances (production issues) dictate - Application Maintenance, Testing and Deployment. To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements: - 5 to 8 Years of experience in Investment banking. - ITIL V3 service management certification - Experience in supporting/developing GCP/AWS cloud based projects. - Monitoring tools - General use and implementation / enhancement of existing applications. - Familiar with Java Micro services concept & experience in Python/Java Programming. - Knowledge of Agile / Scrum and experience in working in a POD model. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills as he/she has to work in global environments. - Previous Production Support experience.  You’ll achieve more when you join HSBC. www.hsbc.com/careers HSBC is committed to building a culture where all employees are valued, respected and opinions count.
