DESCRIPTION -Experienced in video products and related, capable in product design and development by hands on create 3D CAD and 2D drawing to meet product requirement and reliability. - Capable to propose and review design proposals, process feasibility study considering tooling, manufacturing, assembly, and risk assessment. Provide mitigation solution or backup plan. -Lead and drive suppliers in design jobs from RFQ, NPI to MP and co-work stakeholders in verify functional achievement, issue debugging and resolving issues from mechanics, material, and reliability performance by DOE planning -Knowledgeable in plastic injection molding, painting, printing & related cosmetic treatment for plastic parts, and capable to define and optimize process per design request -Knowledgeable in metal processing, stamping, die-casting, extrusion , CNC and cosmetic process as ED & anodizing, and capable to define and optimize process per design request -Well know product development flow and cycle and skillful capability of 2D/3D CAD building -Knowledgeable in SPC & 6-sigma quality system and specifications of ME related fields, and capable to implement design-for-quality methodology in define and qualify components, module and device. Key job responsibilities Based on PRD and initiated CAD to finish product design with detail structure. Co-work with cross function teams and suppliers by evaluating of manufacturing feasibility and achieving target functions. Resolve issues to lock down design through NPI builds. Qualify tooling and ME parts for mass production. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - Master degree in Mechanical engineering and related - 8 years plus in CE product design experience, with 3 years plus in video products like camera, IP cam, projectors, and optical system device related. - Familiar tooling structure, manufacturing process in plastic & metal parts - Familiarity with Creo - Familiar with ANSYS is plus PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Effective verbal and written communication with global team. - Work Independently and proactive working mindset in cross function communication and multi-nations working environment. - Patience and willing to handle the ambiguity in engineering topics and extension stakeholder management
