We aim to be where the growth is, enabling businesses to thrive and economies to prosper, and, ultimately, helping people to fulfil their hopes and realise their ambitions.  We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist In this role, you will: - Develop products that account for the end-to-end solution of a function that is in line with the business objectives - Work closely with analysts and tech leads to elaborate requirements - Have proactive collaboration in the project team to help develop the product through the whole development lifecycle - Ensure governance requirements are captured, and audit requirements met. Demonstrating adherence to controls - Refactor and perform continuous improvements of the code and processes is vital - Ensure that risks are identified and mitigated or acknowledged as part of the agile development lifecycle - Contribute to the ongoing support of the digital apps and ecosystem - Collaborate with others, and you’ll give thought about how software fits into the bigger picture To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements: - Possess strong technical knowledge in security technologies (covering from endpoints, network, Web server, application server, database server, load balancer, Web Application Firewall, Intrusion Detection/Prevention System and authentication services) - Familiar with security vulnerabilities, identification, and exploitation - Security Vendor Accreditations will be advantageous. Independent and relevant certifications (such as CISSP, CISM, CEH) are advantageous - Experience of security and authorization solutions – Transmit Security, ASDS or equivalents - Experience into deployment of Transmit Version 7.0+ above on Cloud with working with Containers. - Experienced in scripting languages: Bash and Perl. - Experience of API and service-based architectures using SOAP, REST APIs, micro-services and utilizing JSON for web or mobile applications - CI/CD tools - Confluence, Jira, Jenkins, GIT, GitHub, SonarQube, checkmarks, PaaS/IaaS – Open Shift, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, AWS, Azure & Cloud bees, DevOps processes and experience, Agile methodologies – SaFe - Good Knowledge on Containers (Dockers / Kubernetes) You’ll achieve more when you join HSBC. www.hsbc.com/careers HSBC is committed to building a culture where all employees are valued, respected and opinions count.
