We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of a Senior Software Engineer. In this role, you will:  - Develop API based micro-services on Java/Springboot framework - Analyze and develop code as per specifications - Create estimates and high level design for small projects - Prepare unit test plans and conduct unit testing - Review of design/code/Unit test results - Troubleshoot issues and bug fixing - Support production deployment and post development implementation activities To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements: - Strong working experience in APIs and Microservices - Hands-on in depth experience in designing and implementing micro services using the Spring Boot framework - Deep Understanding of various protocols – SOAP, REST, HTTP & JSON - Hands-on experience in using and developing Continuous Integration pipeline using Jenkins, Maven, GitHub and other CI tools used in   DevOps  - Good understanding of information security and common security frameworks - Fair knowledge and experience of DevOps & Agile discipline - Experience of leading small sized teams - Awareness of Kubernetes and Dockers - AWS exposure is appreciated  - Demonstrated experience in Internal/External Hackathons  You’ll achieve more when you join HSBC. www.hsbc.com/careers  HSBC is committed to building a culture where all employees are valued, respected and opinions count.
