About Role: Sterling OMS Senior Consultant is an information technology professional who designs process workflows, system interactions and tries to solve real world problems faced by a retailer in their multi-channel fulfilment strategy using Sterling Multi Channel Fulfilment suite of application.  Responsibilities include: - Responsible for understanding internal and external Customer needs. - Design and implement ‘IBM Sterling OMS’ for their technology business applications. Know how to configure, extend or customize the IBM Sterling OMS application to meet a business requirement. - Advise the customer on Supply Chain Best practices, and align the customer process very closely to the product with minimum customization. - Provide leadership to the team of designers and hold the team of designers together to ensure the solution is implementable and consistent. - Lead development of formalized solution methodologies. - Build and maintain repository for deliverables, methodologies, and business development documents - Interface and coordinate tasks with internal and external technical resources. Collaborates with Project Managers and technical directors to provision estimates, develop overall implementation solution plan, and serve lead as required, to implement installation, customization, and integration efforts. - Oversee aspects of project life cycle, from initial kick-off through requirements analysis, design and implementation phases for projects within solution area. - Provide quality assurance for services within solution area. - Write, or direct the writing of white papers that further insight and thought in the solution area.
