We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of a Delivery Manager. In this role, you will:  Financial Management - Own planning and tracking of financial forecasts, resource planning for a portfolio of over $15M. - Managing budget run-rate to forecast and reporting to Program Management and Payments Delivery Committee (PDC) on regular basis.  People Management - Develop and manage high performing team to meet present and future needs - Develop Talent and leadership at all levels including opportunities for growth, stretch roles, global leadership, and succession for key/critical roles. - Attract, develop, and retain talent across delivery leadership and technical/functional SME and Lead performance management including compensation, vertical/lateral progression, and reward & recognition globally. Delivery and Application Management - Lead the future state payment processing platform program to deliver a highly available, resilient, micro-service-based platform adhering to bank’s approved architecture roadmap. - Build technology teams from scratch to deliver the new core platform across all regions. Deal with country and region-specific dependencies and ensure the customization to the core platform are avoided (or kept at critical minimum). - Help drive the discussion with 3rd party vendors to partner for the “fit-for-purpose” capabilities - Create and enhance very strong relationship with the High Value Payment Processing stakeholders - Ownership of mission critical strategic high value payment processing platform for the bank, responsible for change activity, infrastructure evergreen and production stability - Collaborate with Payments Operations, Lines Of Business and Change Control Board for reviewing/prioritizing, planning and on-time and cost-effective deliveries of order-book - Lead and Manage global IT Project Management teams and liaise closely with global Change Control and Regional Payments Operations teams for effective program delivery -  Active involvement and ownership of support activities covering stability, efficiency, and improvement initiatives To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements: - Strong Technology experience including 13+ years of leadership experience leading large scale programs of transformation and core platform change (3rd Party Vendor based solution integration in the banking a PLUS) in large technology organizations – preferably in Banking and financial services (Payments exp is a strong plus) - Strong hands-on Technology expertise to lead the diverse tech delivery teams. Be a go-getter and challenge the status-quo. Strong eye to the detail and experience managing complex stakeholder spread across regions - Experience of delivering large scale Tech programs by driving teams including managers, engineers, designers, large vendor resources etc. across multiple locations and geographies in matrix model (May not have direct responsibility of all of the resources). - Ability to effectively drive and lead change in a global organization like HSBC in terms of scale, size and complexity - Strong knowledge and experience of managing financial, operation, market and regulatory drivers impacting complex and dynamic technology environment - Solid understanding of global technology trends especially and Payment’s domain - Strong business and technology acumen, and proven experience in building a vision and developing strategy supporting the vision. - Strong written and verbal communication skills.  The successful candidate will also meet the following requirements: - Sound experience of building, leading, developing, and retaining high performing teams. - Effective decision-making, influencing, critical thinking and problem-solving skills  You’ll achieve more when you join HSBC. www.hsbc.com/careers  HSBC is committed to building a culture where all employees are valued, respected and opinions count.
