We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist In this role, you will: - Designing and developing new products and services - Work in a team to deliver new technologies to the department - Be responsible for ownership of the design and roadmap of services - Working with our customers to help integrate our services into their end-to-end solution architectures - help identify opportunities for new services and technologies - Designing service-based solutions meeting the needs of multiple customers - Helping to drive better software design, build and release management practices within the team - Building sustainable software with quality, reusability, scalability and supportability - Troubleshooting defects and devising sustainable solutions - Providing support and assistance to our customers when needed - Keeping up to date with current technologies relevant to our architecture patterns To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements: - 7+ years of experience in a software development role - Good technical knowledge and experience of: Core Java and Spring (>5 years) - Design Patterns - DevOps, CICD and version control - Service orientated architecture and event-based architecture - Version control systems such as GIT - Databases (Relational or NoSQL) - Team player - Must be comfortable working to tight timescales - Proficient in English with strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills - Ability to solve complex problems and propose solutions You’ll achieve more when you join HSBC. www.hsbc.com/careers HSBC is committed to building a culture where all employees are valued, respected and opinions count.
