Your role In the role of Consultant – Sustainability/Smart Spaces, you will take end-to-end responsibility for a given project within the smart spaces and/or sustainability area. You will lead the project(s) from beginning to end, from initial proposal through completion, to provide our clients with innovative high-quality solutions focused on their needs around Smart spaces design and build execution. You will be familiar with sustainability goals and their impact on building design and choice of technology options to deliver a solution. You will organize and manage the project team, schedule assignments, monitor and review deliverables of project teams and ensure successful delivery and implementation. You should be comfortable working with clients on their Smart Spaces strategy, development of solution portfolios, implementation roadmap, evaluation of partner solutions, understanding analytics needs, developing implementation business cases and value metrics. You will be able to engage with them through proposals, point of view documents to help them in their definition and adoption of Smart spaces solutions, helping clients achieve their sustainability goals from their real estate and building infra/facilities. For this you will be familiar with market trends, partner ecosystems and competitive strategies. You will need the ability to understand technology trends, architectural options, adoption of cloud technologies, to help manage the Smart Spaces solution portfolio & roadmap of our clients. You will need the ability to lead team, communicate with diverse groups, and influence change throughout the organization. Required • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education. • 3-6 years of experience with IoT Solutions/Smart Buildings Design & Solutions • Demonstrated ability to lead large programs involving multiple stakeholders with articulation of value delivered • Experience in successfully delivering projects in Client’s Matrix environment (Multiple vendors/teams involved in any single project) • Ability to analyse, evaluate solution options keeping in mind the end user needs and goals • Understanding of smart spaces goals and linkages to sustainability outcomes • Manage entire project end to end – Deliverables, Critical Paths, Dates, Budget/ Forecast Lead client discussions to assess, analyse smart space goals, challenges • Manage all projects and work request prioritization in conjunctions with BRMs to optimize resources • Familiar with Agile development processes, toolsets • Receive, review, modify all SOWs to meet business needs • Chair meetings with Design, Data, Development, Change Management teams of client, and other partners/stakeholders • Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment • Desired Functional skills would include the following • Baseline areas of proposed improvements in building operations, smart solutions with leading practices, benchmarks and technology trends • Define the problem concisely and hypothesize the proposed solutions • Understand/document end user goals and journeys • Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis to drive the proposed solution and articulate business value • Use quantitative research methodologies include KPIs, trend analysis, building operations data mining, creating financial models, and performing valuation analysis • Qualitative research methodologies include performing market research and collecting business intelligence around smart spaces, occupant experience solutions • Drive measurement of smart spaces solutions to achieve sustainability goals for the client • Develop and present a plan to implement the recommended changes • Support the business development activities of the firm such as pursuit development and production of thought papers The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
