Short Description: AIX Admin Location: Sydney, Australia Roles and Responsibilities:5 to 8’ years’ experience - System monitoring and performing health-checks using various tools like Centreon, RevSoft, Slpunk, NMON and LPAR2RRD - Identifying any abnormalities in the system like high CPU, memory utilization, I/O bottlenecks - Creating and reporting Monthly, Quarterly PCM and ad-hoc reports. - Capacity planning for the LPARs - Identifying and analyzing system trends, workload, service class reports and finding its root cause - Taking steps to avoid repeating Performance issues - Supporting DR activities provided the PCM checkouts of the system performances Skills /Competencies: - Essential:- 5+ Years’ experience on AIX & AS400 Performance and Capacity - Note: AS400 can be learned “on the job” Additional Skills: Excellent customer interfacing skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail and outstanding analytical and Problem-solving skills.
