Veeqo is a multi-channel shipping software built to simplify fast-growth e-commerce. Acquired by Amazon in 2021, Veeqo helps sellers cut shipping costs while increasing the speed of fulfilling customer orders. Selected candidate(s) as Seller Support Associates will serve as the first-line support partners to act as the primary interface for our Veeqo customers, providing phone, email and live chat support. 

Our team in Costa Rica will be responsible for providing timely and accurate operational support to customers on our internal platform, offering a first class customer experience in all interactions. A First Line Support Agent will also identify chronic system issues, provide process improvements and recommendations, develop internal documentation, and contribute to a team environment.

The selected candidate(s) will provide proactive and solution-focused service. Veeqo is seeking logical thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to understand and empathize with customers. Willingness to work to high performance targets as well as an inquisitive and improvement based approach to work are critical competencies for this role.

The First Line Support Agent demonstrates end-to-end ownership of every seller interaction and handles proactive problem solving to provide exceptional support to our customers. Able to deal with pressure and satisfy customer concerns or frustration even in the most challenging of environments, our first line support can diffuse complex situations, ensuring customer satisfaction. Our team members are expected to maintain a positive and professional demeanor, always portraying the company in a positive light and effectively managing sensitive issues.

About the team
Prior applying, please consider the following:
- Schedule available for this role is Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm (no exceptions or additional shifts are required).
- In accordance to RTO Guidance, selected candidate(s) will be required to work in a hybrid model: two days from home and three days from one of Amazon Costa Rica corporate buildings in Calle Blancos, San José.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Speak, write, and read fluently in English
- High School diploma.
- 2+ year(s) of experience in Customer Service and/or back-office corporate environments.
- Work experience in MS Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- B1 proficiency or higher in Portuguese, French, Italian and/or German.
- University bachelor's degree completed in Information/Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related tech-field.
- Experience in peer coaching, mentoring, and/or training.

Full stack Developer - San Jose, Costa Rica
In this role of Full Stack Developer you must be fluent in creating websites with a robust internal architecture and delivering an interactive and intuitive interface to clients. A full stack developer must be well-versed in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and know their way around backend technologies and database structures. 
Work with a product through its initial creation until its final launch, using industry-standard practices to ensure that technical concerns are adequately addressed at every development stack level. 
You must start with brainstorming platforms alongside a graphic design team, often reviewing prototypes before turning them into coded products. Then, these multi-talented programmers craft functional databases and servers to support client-facing content, always evaluating how responsive an app is for end-users and troubleshooting problems as necessary.
The best full stack developer also keep abreast of current industry trends and emerging technologies and understand how to deploy upcoming technologies to suit their employers’ needs.
Everyday responsibilities of the profession include:
- Working with CSS, HTML, and JavaScript, along with CSS preprocessors, to craft client-facing platforms
- Managing databases and servers
- Coding for functionality across multiple languages and platforms
- Communicating with specialized developers and the graphic design team to deliver the best possible product
- Keeping up with emerging technology that may serve the business’ needs
- Prototyping minimal viable products for communication with company stakeholders


Skills: 
Primary skills:- .Net, SQL, React (Knowledge and adaptability to work with both Angular & React)

Qualifications
Basic- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 6 years of relevant experience

- Flexible and quick learner of new tools/tech
- Hands on with Jira, GitHub and Agile CI/CD
