Job Description
We are looking for Windows Admin an immediate need. This is a client-facing role the candidate will have regular interactions with various client managers. - Good exposure and knowledge in Windows administration - Understanding of TCP/IP protocol, IP addressing, networking & VLAN concept. - Manage and troubleshoot windows server and client operating systems and related software applications. - Work experience on vSphere 5.0 and above. - Good knowledge of managing VMware clusters. - Storage migrations and snapshot management. - Building VMs and updating templates through vcenter. - Knowledge of networking concepts/ technologies and system security. - Manage, monitor and troubleshoot Microsoft Windows 2003/2008/2012/2016 servers in domain environment. - Software & Hardware installation, maintenance, up gradation and troubleshooting of windows server 2008/12/16. - Excellent troubleshooting skill with ability to support and troubleshoot elevated queries independently. - Hands on experience of Hardware troubleshooting. - Resolving start up and login problems, Desktop performance and optimization, resolving browser and internet connection, troubleshooting DNS & DHCP issues. - Experience on Microsoft Failover Clustering and MSCS. - Knowledge of NTFS permissions. - Know how to manage file servers and permissions. - Experience with HP/Dell hardware firmware upgrade. - Experience with Bladed server firmware upgrade. - Knowledge to work with ilo's and install O/S. - Good communication skills with ability to communicate effectively with technical and non - technical issues with colleagues at all levels within and outside organization
