Job Description Infosys is seeking a Utilities Customer Information System Consultant - As a consultant, you will significantly contribute to identifying best-fit solutions for one or more projects; develop design of application, validate solutions, create validation strategy & plans, perform review, scope definition, issue analysis, troubleshooting and resolution, provide regular support/guidance to project teams on domain, issue resolution and execution. You will collaborate with some of the best talent in the industry to create and implement innovative high-quality solutions, participate in Sales and various pursuits focused on our clients' business needs. Candidate can work remotely from anywhere within the US during PST time zone. This position will require relocation and or travel to project location. Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education. • At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology. Preferred Qualifications: • Understanding of utility market and technology trends • Business Analysis skills • Experience and desire to work in a consulting environment that requires regular travel • Should have excellent soft-skills and leadership skills to lead assessment workshops • Knowledge of Mainframe technology would be an advantage • Knowledge of latest technology trends and frameworks like ITIL, CMMI would be an advantage • Exposure to US Market • Should be able to lead requirement gathering, functional design and business process definitions • Should be able to Work with Internal and external stakeholders to understand the service/function/product provided • Should be able to effectively communicate your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management • Should be able to map the customer requirements into the product and suggest workarounds/solutions for the requirements • Should be able to create the AS-IS and TO-Be Process documents and identify gaps in the product/solution • Should have good understanding of the CIS systems and meter to cash value chain • Should be able to assist the Testing team with the functional areas to be tested • The candidate must be a team player and is also expected to help the project team with any functional issues that may arise during the course of the project • Good interpersonal communications and analytical ability The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
