What you'll do... Position: Software Engineer III Job Location: 805 Moberly Ln, Bentonville, AR 72712 Duties: Participate in technical discussions with cross functional teams for program level deliverables and software architecture using Agile methodology. Participate in discovery phase of medium to large projects to develop high level design. Design and develop high quality software features and functionality using latest technologies and frameworks including Spring, Hibernate, NoSQL (e.g. Cassandra, Cosmos), relational databases (e.g. DB2, SQL Server). Engage in unit and integration testing of the web services to provide optimized performance for high throughput-low latency applications. Improve throughout and performance using queueing (e.g. Kafka, ActiveMQ) and event processing (e.g. Storm, Spark) technologies. Perform code reviews to ensure software code quality with knowledge of ‘git’ or another source code management tool. Optimize software systems and designs to improve performance and scalability. Participate in end-to-end service implementations, data feeds ingestion, and orchestration. Troubleshoot business and production issues and drive for quick resolution. Work across geographic boundaries to assist offshore engineers to understand technical specifications and business logic. Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field plus 5 years of experience in IT or related field. Skills Required: Must have experience with: Designing Frameworks using Java/Java Script; Coding to automate testing with Selenium; Webservices, API automation using Java; Coding to automate windows applications using HP UFT/QTP using VB; Developing Automation scripts of mobile/Web applications using cucumber framework; Backend servers like Windows, Unix, and Mainframes; Developing automation framework using data driven, page factory model with TestNG, Maven and Java; Utilizing GitHub for source control for code check-ins and code maintenance; Architectural designs, UML diagrams; Appium testing and Rest Services; Developing complex SQL queries, SPs using joins, sub queries and correlated sub queries to test relational databases like MySQL, DB2, Oracle.
