Job Description Role – Senior Consultant Technology – Core Network - Core Network & Datacenter Architecture Primary Skill – F5 Location – Amsterdam, Netherlands Purpose Statement: The datacentre Network Deployment Team is responsible for the platform lifecycle management of the Data Center Network, Application Delivery and Security components for delivering voice, video & data. As part of the Centre of Excellence, our mission is to ensure the stability and integrity of such infrastructure. Job Responsibilities: - Network Deployment and Maintenance - Lifecycle management of F5 platforms - Deployment of new F5 solutions - Design and execute migrations of F5 Hardware or Software - Loadlacancer support for network/Firewall migrations - Creating network documentation - Network Architecture and Design - Creating Network Low Level Design for new implementations for platforms and applications. - Serving as SME during design discussions Job Requirements:- Good verbal and written communication skills are required as job responsibility demands the interaction with customer & business. - Willingness to work flexible hours including night-shifts for implementations during maintenance windows. - Assist the L1 & L2 team in skill enhancement. Create, review & update documentations & publish them in central knowledge base - Experience with defining processes and procedures for migrations of legacy infrastructure - Experience with performing large-scale F5 Viprion vcmp upgrades. - Experience with performing large-scale F5 BigIQ upgrades. - Architecture skills in network design (creating low level designs based on high level requirements) - Expert level knowledge in data centre networking technologies and protocols, working with them for more than 5 years, including: - F5 appliances - F5 BigIQ - F5 Viprion - F5 modules, ASM/aWAF/APM/AFM/GTM - Strong knowledge and experience with troubleshooting and implementations of the following products: - Cisco ACI - Routing (OSPF, BGP) and Switching (STP/VPC) - Cisco IOS/NX-OS platforms - Checkpoint Firewalls - VMware (ESXi/vCenter/VDS) - Experience in creating scripts and building automation for daily activities and complex migrations, using REST APIs. - Regular infrastructure support (ticket solving) and maintenance (enhancement) work. - Perform advanced troubleshooting of complex network problems and offer issue resolution in timely manner.
