Reporting to the Group Head of Data, Analytics and CRM, this is a key leadership position, responsible for developing the Data, Analytics and CRM strategy for HSBC’s Wealth & Personal Banking (WPB) business in the Middle East and Europe. The role holder will be responsible for transforming Data, Analytics and CRM into a source of sustainable, competitive advantage for WPB in the region. In this role, you will: ·       Responsible for the continued development of the regional Data, Analytics and CRM function in each EMEA market business. ·       Design data and analytics commercialization strategies across WPB and GPB, wealth, lending, channels, insurance, and all segments in order to optimize value to the business, reduce cost and improve customers experience ·       Drive the value of customer data enabling smart decision making, personalization at scale both in market and connecting customers across HSBC internationally ·       Responsible for establishing clear OKR’s with each market/VS and the tracking against these, along with activity to drive performance. ·       Drive and manage the development of new data, analytics and CRM capabilities across EMEA priority markets for data and messaging (ie cloud, mobile messaging, generative AI) ·       Establishes WPB Data, Analytics and CRM policies and standards.  Manages operational risk, ensures adherence to Legal, Compliance, Regulatory and Information security standards and keeping HSBC data Ethics principles on top of everything. ·       Responsible for the development of Data, Analytics and CRM talent in the region and the ongoing transformation and adoption of new capabilities in the region such as machine learning/AI ·       Responsible for regulatory reporting across EMEA markets and ensuring this is timely and accurate ·       Model sponsor for all customer selection and fraud machine learning models across EMEA ·       Leverage the expertise of the global COEs to the advantage of the EMEA ambitions               Responsible for the delivery of multimillion $ transformation programs for data and messaging ·       Deep experience in building and leading teams of Data, Analytics and CRM practitioners and analysts, across multiple geographies ·       Extensive skills in strategy development, marketing, quantitative analysis, product profitability modelling and financial analysis, across multiple financial product categories and customer segments ·       Deep technical knowledge of customer segmentation, online analytics, model building, portfolio analytics, data mining development and applications, and market/industry reviews for strategy formulation ·       Deep exposure and experience with customer lifecycle marketing ·       Proven experience delivering complex programs and initiatives simultaneously, including exposure to change management, process improvement techniques and business case development ·       Proven experience delivering Data, Analytics and CRM infrastructure and tooling initiatives, including campaign management, marketing optimization, event-based marketing, real time trigger interaction and marketing resource management initiatives as well as Advanced Analytics tooling which will enable ML/AI services ·       Prior experience delivering advanced analytical capabilities such as price elasticity modelling and marketing mix modelling ·       Extensive experience with customer base marketing initiatives, particularly product retailing to the mass market and affluent segments via multiple distribution channels ·       10 years+ of hard-core analytic experience in the banking industry.  Must possess in-depth knowledge of banking products and services.   ·       Excellent problem solving and analytic sills, excellent leadership and management skills, strong communication skills and able to drive change through persuasion and influencing skills.   ·       To drive the team to increase Business and to focus on core clients and to remain within all required standards ·       Graduation degree is a must – to secure a UAE Visa and Work Permit ·       Under the New Labour Law, only fixed term contracts shall be available to all employees of HSBC UAE (except DIFC and ADGM employees) – hence in line with the term of work permit, a 4 years’ contract would be issued.
