We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Software Engineer. In this role, you will: - Be building and enhancing Cloud based Data Platform, work with diverse global team of data engineers responsible for data platform enhancement, data acquisition, transformation, and distribution. - Ensure on time high quality data pipeline delivery - Partner cross-functionally to enhance existing data sets, eliminating manual inputs and ensuring high quality, and onboarding new data sets - Foster an agile collaborative culture which is creative open, supportive, and dynamic To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements: - 5+ years’ experience in hands-on data platform development/enhancement on any Cloud based platform - Depth understanding with hands-on experience on Data Acquisition, transformation and distribution layer of data platform using Python scripting - Hands-on in Python programming and scripting    - Hands-on on working of any Cloud platform preferably on AWS. - Understanding on API solutions design and technical workflow You’ll achieve more when you join HSBC. www.hsbc.com/careers  HSBC is committed to building a culture where all employees are valued, respected and opinions count.
