The Data Center Global Services team is looking for an exceptional individual to join our Critical Projects Implementation Team as a Project Coordinator responsible for the initial development of each project from a financial, legal, and logistical aspect. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to collect, analyze, and manage quantitative data by creating meaningful reports to drive business improvement. This role requires both independent contribution as well as the ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams. The candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office with a solid background in Excel and and SharePoint. The candidate must have the ability to handle multiple tasks within a fast paced environment. Key job responsibilities - Ability to manage scope of work relative to site specific needs and financial constraints. - Communicating important business information and requirements to multiple teams. - Ability to understand, request, forecast and track budgets, contingency, POs and invoices. - Ability to organize, audit and request Capital Appropriation Requests. - Ability to track multiple projects globally and create reports. - Collaborate with multiple teams including engineering, operations, legal, finance and procurement. - Partner with finance and leadership to reallocate funding between different budgets. - Understanding of purchasing and invoicing processes. - Understanding of vendor procurement through the competitive bid process. - Work as part of a team to develop process and procedures to ensure availability to our end customers. - Foster teamwork and employee involvement, with processes to encourage innovation and growth. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - 2+ years of construction contract management and/or project coordination. - College/Technical Degree or equivalent professional experience in finance or accounting. - Microsoft Office Suite power user. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - 2+ years’ experience in a data center environment or basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems. - 2+ years’ experience in creating budgets or forecasting. - Proactively and continually improve your level of knowledge about data center relevant technologies. - Meets/exceeds Amazon’s leadership principles requirements for this role. - Meets/exceeds Amazon’s functional/technical depth and complexity for this role.
