Job Description Special Markets Life Insurance Specialist Process Specialist – Atlanta, GA In the role of process specialist, you will execute transactions as per prescribed guidelines and timelines, review and validate the inputs from the other team members, support your manager in training activities, daily operational reviews and help in escalation resolution with the objective to meet service level agreement targets for the specific process within the guidelines, policies, and norms of Infosys. In this role you will be involved in day-to-day customer interactions, knowledge management and process reengineering activities. Additional responsibilities will include transition coordination when new carriers are added to the platform, training new team members on processes and procedures, adherence to Service Level Agreements, and compliance to regulatory requirements. You will monitor incoming work requests for instruction accuracy and completeness and be responsible for working with the client to supplement or clarify incomplete or ambiguous requests. You will be intensely involved in facilitating new processes and procedures, working with immediate supervisor/manager in defining workflow that will ensure efficient and accurate processing of the business associated with the assigned team. You will assist in integrating these new processes into existing operations. You are or will become a Subject Matter Expert to the processes and procedures, client products, policy administration and recordkeeping systems, and any other ancillary systems. You will track and report productivity service measurements to immediate supervisor/manager regularly to improve team and individual effectiveness. You will be willing to learn multiple systems and their flow to manage day to day business. In this role you should be flexible to note down the system and process challenges/ limitations and help work on improving the process. Location for this position is Atlanta, GA. Qualifications Basic - 2 years’ experience related to the job description. - Bachelor’s degree Preferred- Able to work and adapt to a fast-paced work environment. - Willingness to go above and beyond to ensure SLA’s are maintained. - Willingness to learn multiple systems and tools. - Ability to trouble shoot basic system issues. - 4 Year College Degree - Experience in Customer Services sector working with data processing and interacting with customers on a regular basis. - Bilingual English/Spanish- Should be able to read, write and converse fluently in Spanish and English. - At least 2 years of experience in handling BPO processes. - Demonstrated experience in Customer services in Operations and Insurance policy Administration or Technology. - Excellent Communication Skills both written and verbal. - Great Analytical skills - High attention to detail - Working knowledge of financial services or insurance brokerage. - Ability to quickly learn and adapt to different technology. - Strong understanding of Advisor / Client relationships - Two (2) years in a client facing role or as a lead. - Insurance and / or financial industry knowledge - An understanding of trading equity, fixed income, derivative securities - Recordkeeping system experience - Experience in the Financial Services sector working with data or trade processing. - Analytical skills - Good understanding of McCamish Systems’ functionality and service offerings Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Act as key contact point for client and customers - Responsible for working with the client to supplement or clarify incomplete or ambiguous requests. - Monitors workflow and deliverable dates to ensure compliance with client service standards. - Performs quality control review of processed work and client deliverables. - Facilitates new processes and procedures, working with immediate supervisor/manager in defining workflow that will ensure efficient and accurate processing of the business associated with the assigned team. Assists in integrating these new processes into existing operations. - Track and report productivity service measurements to immediate supervisor/manager regularly to improve team and individual effectiveness. - Assists in documenting client specific processes and procedures. - Assists in monthly Metrics Reporting for volume and accuracy of work performed in the group.
