Your responsibilities: - Serve as a key contributor for the respective market development including pipeline and revenue development resulting in helping to drive the overall AWS market and technical strategy - In partnership with the Vertical sales teams, formulate and execute a sales strategy to exceed revenue objectives through the adoption of AWS and Cognizant Offerings - Build deep relationships dedicated vertical and customer contacts to enable them to be cloud advocates - Understand the Cognizant’s market customer base, targets, contacts, history, and penetration rate. - Set strategic business development plan for target accounts and ensure it’s in line with the Cognizant strategic direction. - Amplify Cognizant’s IPs, Assets and Framework to Cognizant’s customers, Partners and Vendors using Proactive and Reactive customer engagement initiatives. - Attend customer meetings with technical architect team for opportunities and to broadcast the technical capability & success we already achieved - Ensure availability of use cases, Success stories and customer reference are readily available for customer consumption - Must understand the market analyst reports and survey to define the marketing campaign strategy for every account within vertical. - Execute the strategic business development plan while working with key internal stakeholders within Vertical and Service Teams (Delivery, Technology, Service lines) - Prepare and give business reviews to leadership team regarding progress and roadblocks to closing opportunities. - Author or contribute to Cognizant blogs, whitepapers, and webinars Your qualifications: - Knowledgeable on AWS Cloud computing technologies and some knowledge on various other Hyper Scalers - Knowledge around on-premises environments and technologies - 10+ years of partner and business development. - 5+ years relevant experience in technology/software consulting - Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with internal and external executives, IT management, technical conferences, and development teams - Experience working within the service delivery industry. - Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must, as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations. - Visit customer locations and partner events (travel up to 25%) - Industry specific experience
