Job Description Infosys is seeking a Lead React Developer. In the role of Technology Lead, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design. You will play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts. You will also deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Responsibilities · Developing application and infrastructure as code with high quality (that you help write tests for) into a delivery pipeline (that you help maintain) to ensure secure, reliable, performant operations of domain-drives REST APIs in the AWS cloud · Subject matter expert in retail application code development, helping guide others to maintain programming best practices through paired programming exercises Qualifications Basic · Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education. · At least 5+ years of experience with Information Technology · Location for this position is Portland, OR. This position may require 10% travel. · U.S. citizens and Green Card Holders are encouraged to apply. We are unable to sponsor at this time. · 8+ years of hands-on full stack experience in React JS, Node Js, and AWS · Prove experience in agile-driven SDLC for AWS cloud and serverless APIs · Proven track record of being self-directed, results orientated with demonstrated ability to achieve aggressive goals despite ambiguity and multiple priorities · Excellent verbal and written communication skills, both technical and business-facing · Experience with DevSecOps, including development, operational & QA skills · Ability to define solution options, provide estimates on effort and risk, and evaluate technical feasibility · Experience with Agile: Scrum, Kanban, etc. · 5+ years experience in the following AWS cloud services in the capacity of an individual contributor / implementer: ECS, EKS, RDS · 2+ years implementer-level familiarity with the following advanced AWS cloud services: IAM, VPC, , S3, Parameter Store, ALB · 2+ years experience creating, interpreting, developing against, and generating code from OpenAPI/Swagger contracts · 5+ years of experience in application development using React JS and Redux with Unit Testing. · 4+ years of experience in application development using NodeJS for data transport, mutation, and data object / contract management · 2+ years of experience writing in provided unit testing and integration testing suites, preferably in NodeJS (Jasmine, Mocha, NightwatchJS, TestCafe, Cypress, etc.) · 2+ years of experience developing against a cloud provider using Hashicorp Terraform · Full stack application experience, throughout its lifecycle (Design, Engineering, Testing, Deployment, Support) · 5+ years of experience with modern build strategies, continuous integration, API functional testing, unit testing, static analysis, and automated integration testing · Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and architecture patterns (REST, publisher/subscriber, domain-driven design, micro-services, eventing) · Familiar with NoSQL & SQL strategies to ensure data storage is designed for security, reliability, availability, maintainability, and performance · Experience in creating npm modules. · Experience with implementing and consuming RESTful web services · Experience integrating legacy and modern RESTful APIs · Experience with automated testing for serverless technology stacks · Ability to write effective technical documentation · Experience with automating the testing software to ensure responsiveness, efficiency, and security · Experience with CI/CD, including relevant experience with tools like Jenkins 2.0 · Experience directly working on teams with DevSecOps responsibilities · Proficient in performing peer technical code reviews and pair programming activities, like extreme programming (XP) · Knowledgeable with version control systems (required: GitHub) and issue tracking / ALM tools (required: Jira) The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time.
