We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Software Engineer. In this role, you will: - You will work within the Xceptor Team and business users - Work closely with Product Owner to plan and deliver book of work - Support existing application. You will be part of an agile team, take on incidents and resolve - You are expected to participate in the technical automation within your product area. - Support ‘issue resolution’ and improve processing performance - Ensure the use of SQL, ASP.Net, knowledge on IIS and website deployments to reduces lead time to delivery - Lead team in future Technically To be successful in this role, meet all or some of following requirements - Minimum IT Work Experience: 5 years. - Domain knowledge of Financial Accounting and reporting.  - Exposure to tools like Jira, Confluence, GitHub, Jenkins, Ansible & Control M, SQL etc. Exposure to development, production support and SSP processes - Good to Have Skills : Application patches and product upgrades management, platform support experience with Vendor products.Application monitoring and troubleshooting skills - Non-Technical Requirements : Candidate should be able to lead and track technical tasks, production issues independently and present status to management. Strong verbal and written communication skills & Open to work across multiple platforms and technologies as required for project - Flexibility – Project demands lot of flexibility for production support and weekend activities. - Accountability – You will be accountable to ensure smooth production process. - Prior Experience in Production Support is a must i.e. Incident Management, Change Request, etc You’ll achieve more when you join HSBC. www.hsbc.com/careers HSBC is committed to building a culture where all employees are valued, respected and opinions count.
