Your role • As part of the Infosys delivery team, your primary role would be to ensure effective Design, Development, Validation and Support activities, to assure that our clients are satisfied with the high levels of service in the technology domain. • You will gather the requirements and specifications to understand the client requirements in a detailed manner and translate the same into system requirements. • Connect with team members and other teams off-shore in-order to have continuity in business. • Participate and contribute at all phases of development process and analysis, design, build, testing, and implementation as well as provide support on applications to business users as per requirements. • Contribute to problem solving and recommend programming solutions for issues/problems • Ensure and follow all relevant essential procedures and processes setup within the team and company. Required • 4+ years of relevant experience in Java with strong experience in Spring, Hibernate, Design • Experience in Microservices • Experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications • Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements • Knowledge of design principles and fundamentals of architecture • Knowledge of quality and knowledge management processes • Basic understanding of telecom domain • Relevant experience or track record in the Telecom domain and middleware technologies • Ability to translate functional / nonfunctional requirements to systems requirements. • Ability to code complex programs as per the design specifications provided. • Ability to write test cases and scenarios based on the specifications. • Good understanding of SDLC and agile methodologies • Logical thinking and problem-solving skills along with an ability to collaborate • Experience in performing the role of a developer in agile, scrum, ITDevOps way of working. • Relevant experience in solutions delivery in the Communications, Media or Technology industry is preferred • Ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision. Technical and Professional Requirements: • Core Java, J2EE (Servlet, JSP, EJB, JMS, etc.) • Spring framework, Springboot, Microservices • Junit / Mockito • Mongo DB / Postgresql • Containerization, Docker, Kubernetes • Cloud AWS/Azure/Google • JDBC / Hibernate / any ORM framework. • Maven / Ant • Web Services REST, SOAP • Unix/linux/shell scripting • Sonar / CICD / Jenkins • Knowledge / experience in Kafka/Camunda will be given preference.
