We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Head of Mortgage Services. Principal Responsibilities - Plans, manages, direct and control the Mortgage related operational activities, covering WPB and Private Banking sectors, so as to contribute to the Bank in capturing and maintaining high-quality mortgage business - Achieves maximum efficiency and productivity by providing consistently high-quality services in line with the services level agreements - Ensures that best practice is adopted across the team and that professional service is provided using the optimal staff level whilst controlling operational costs - Ensures a good working environment leading to committed staff who take pride in working for HSBC - Develops staff to help them achieve their potential to both meet HSBC objectives and manage attrition - Maintains excellent customer relationships at all levels and manages customer expectations - Actively drives transformation in Operations and customer journey improvement, in line with the direction of Bank Wide Operations Transformation of Global Operations, and evolve the WPB operations towards more customer centric, data driven, innovative and “fit for the future” one - Strong change orientation with commitment to delivering results under pressure and constraints - Strong leadership, with excellent people, communication, stakeholder management and negotiation skills - Ability to mobilize resources and achieve win-win solutions for all stakeholders, balancing between business and risk - Proficiency in both English and Cantonese, fluency in Putonghua an advantage You’ll achieve more when you join HSBC. http://www.hsbc.com/careers HSBC is committed to building a culture where all employees are valued, respected and opinions count.
