Job Description

DESCRIPTION External Fulfillment includes a variety of programs in which Amazon works hand in hand with a wide range of Sellers and Vendors to ship product from their warehouse. The Easy Ship manager is responsible of leading and monitoring our fulfillment facilities from operations and compliance point of view thought the coordination of his/her team and internal and external stakeholders as well; this team acts as the primary interface between Amazon and our business partners. The job requires a person who has strong leadership skills and abilities identifying patterns and any disruptions in it, along with examining details and foresee the implications of the data. The candidate needs to be analytical, knowing how to dive deep on root causes and proposing solutions on the identified issues. This team is expected to audit and provide process improvements to our sellers in order to increase the overall Customer Experience of the External Fulfillment program; hence the candidate needs to have high communication skills in order to transmit results to sellers while also handling difficult conversations with them and escalating when necessary. Key job responsibilities • Lead the Easy Ship team and manage their administrative needs (vacations, over time, permissions). • Be accountable of the KPIs results for our Easy Ship program. • Create and track operational metrics. • Monitor efficient functioning of the assigned fulfillment facility and suggest and deploy improvements. • Accumulate data from various sources and identify the relevant data out of it and present in a way that would help take action. • Foresee implications based on current data and trends and take necessary actions. • Be organized, apt and prompt in notifying and updating about any given situation. • Serve as a liaison between the internal and external stakeholders keeping in mind the objectives, limits, conformance and information privacy. • Train and direct seller’s associates for action and conformance of norms and practices at seller’s facilities. • Dive deep on operational issues root causes. • Excellent Communication skills - deal with sellers as stakeholders/customers with outstanding organizational and follow-up skills. • Candidate should be willing to travel mostly throughout Mexico City and Metro Zone, but also throughout different cities across the country. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - 2+ years of program or project management experience PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Knowledge of Lean principles and DMAIC methodology - Experience in MS Access and SQL - Experience in requirement gathering and ability to write clear and detailed requirement document
