Responsibilities The Cyber Security Architect at Cognizant is responsible for providing pre-sales support in the development of solutions incorporating security services and offerings. Resource will work in conjunction with Sales and Account Executives to Architect. Design, propose, and help close opportunities with both existing and new clients. The primary role is to drive and collaborate with a Solution Architect team to develop and integrate solutions for a wide range of security capabilities and technologies including but not limited to: perimeter and edge based network controls (firewalls, IPS, IDS, proxy and DLP based solutions), end point controls (anti-virus, anti-malware, data loss prevention, encryption), identity and access solutions, as well as visibility and response solutions. The role is also expected to lead cross-functional teams that anticipate future capabilities. Required Skills - Must have full lifecycle project experience as Security Architect including strong design and implementation of Data centre security, Cloud security solutions like Firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, NAC, Web/Email Content Filtering, DLP, SIEM, End point security, Identity & access solutions, Encryption & application security - Preferred Certifications: Product certifications like CCIE, CCSE etc. and domain certifications like CISSP, CISA, CISM, CRISC - Work experience in consulting/architecting security cloud platform (AWS/Azure) is an advantage - Experience of native cloud security solutions and their working, including licensing models, integrations - Familiarity with industry compliance and security standards including PCI DSS, ISO 27001 and HIPAA - Preferably with NIST experience advising customers on architectures meeting industry standards such as SAS70, SOC1, FISMA, etc. Next steps If you feel this opportunity suits you, or Cognizant is the type of organization you would like to join, we want to have a conversation with you!
