Job Title: Cloud Infrastructure Solution Architect Duration: Full Time - Remote with ability to travel upto 50% Cognizant Technology Solutions is currently seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Solution Architect  who will be a part of the Cognizant’s Cloud, Infrastructure and Security (CIS) Services BU Solution Group, catering to the North America customers and involves supporting proactive and reactive business opportunities such as managed services, transformation etc across all verticals. The individual will be closely working with our onsite sales / delivery teams, and participate in solution discussions, workshops, due diligence etc. Ability to work independently and remotely, with willingness travel for client engagements as needed. At Cognizant, we believe those who challenge the way they work today will lead the way tomorrow!   Responsibilities: •    End to end responsibility of Solution & commercials creation including conducting workshops for scoping, questionnaire and solution discussions •    Collaboratively work with all internal and external stakeholders in designing a winnable solution  •    Responsible for creation of differentiated solutions that meets the customer requirements. •    Formulate re-usable bid components to achieve maximum utilization •    Develop winning themes, SWOT and competitor analysis for the pursuit  •    Travel & Participate in Customer presentations •    Bid resourcing – bid team formation including various internal and external stakeholders •    Understand the problem statement and identifying missing information to develop appropriate queries •    Engage with internal and external customers in scoping, questionnaire and solution discussions •    Manage internal governance – Sales / delivery / practice approvals and sign-offs are taken before submission of proposal to client •    Detail and articulation of solutions  and ensure completeness of the same Required Qualifications: •    15+ years of overall experience working in Cross-cultural and Consulting environment with providing Solution Architecture to multiple clients. •    Good IT infrastructure technical understanding covering areas such as : Mid-Range,  x86, Storage, Backup and Archive, Virtualization,  Data Centre, Mainframe, Database, Middleware, Network, Citrix and VDI,  Windows 10,  Active Directory,  Service Desk, Desktop Engineering, Desktop Support, Messaging and Collaboration, Mobility,  Public cloud, private cloud, Hyper converged systems etc  •    Good knowledge on various service assurance, automation tools, ITIL / ITSM process and pricing models, IT spend analysis, business case development, TCO and ROI analysis •    Proven track-record of working in a fast-paced environment and demonstrating strong complex problem-solving skills. •    Detail and articulation of solutions and ensure proposal completeness  •    Focused on delivering a high-quality solution to clients, both internal and external. •    Good knowledge on industry IT trends, Analyst reports and various TPA processes such as Gartner, Everest, Forrester, ISG, BCG, HfS, IDC etc •    Good analytical and troubleshooting skills (the ability to think logically through a problem) •    Able to respond to and resolve client queries and requests in a timely manner •    Strong IT market awareness and knowledge or emerging trends and technologies. •    Exudes enthusiasm and optimism at all times and Self-motivated with a flexible and dynamic style. •    Able to shape effective, creative and innovative solutions, deliverable at acceptable business profit levels. •    Effective project/ time management skills and Excellent communication and presentation skills •    Must have the initiative, tenacity and commitment to see problems through to resolution •    A flexible approach with “Can do” attitude and ability to work well under pressure Preferred Skills/Qualification: •    Worked in Large Scale transformational Projects in a Consulting environment supporting multiple clients. •    Exceptional decision making and problem solving skills •    Exceptional personal time management, planning and organizational skills Home office setup (network, phone, etc.) Our strength is built on our ability to work together.
